LOC Contributes to New Conservation Analytical Laboratory

LOC Scientific had the privilege of working with The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation with their new conservation analytical laboratory. LOC contributed to the new project by furnishing the lab with cabinetry and furniture. The lab was also equipped with advanced analytical instruments that will assist the Foundation in their collection and conservation efforts.

Ron Hurst, Colonial Williamsburg’s vice president for collections, conservation and museums and Carlisle H. Humelsine chief curator, said, “Our analytic capability has made a giant leap forward with these instruments and this lab. We’re incredibly grateful to the Gillilands, the Tallons and the other donors who so generously outfitted the lab, as well as to LOC Scientific for furnishing its tables and cabinetry.”
