Museum of Science & Industry
| Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, one of the largest science museums in the world, is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and nearly 14 acres of hands-on exhibits designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity. We have welcomed more than 175 million guests in our 75 years, and our ongoing mission has been to inspire the inventive genius in all of them with world-class, permanent exhibits such as the U-505 Submarine, the only German U-boat in the United States; or world-premiere temporary exhibits such as 2008’s Smart Home: Green + Wired. |
Smithsonian Institute
| The Smithsonian Institute operates a number of museums and research centers throughout the USA. Of the Smithsonian museums, nine may be found in the National Mall including the National Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of American History, the Hirshhorn Museum and the Arthur M Sackler Gallery. The Smithsonian Institute Building, also known as “the Castle”, acts not only as the central office for the institute but also as a visitors center, providing a fascinating insight into the Smithsonian Institute’s history and its role today. |
Georgia Aquarium
As the world’s largest aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium features more animals than any other aquarium in more than eight million gallons of water. Through a path of more than sixty exhibits, the Aquarium tells a global water story, with features modeled after the greatest zoos and aquariums in the world. Guests will delight in majestic exhibits that inspire, entertain and educate.
Colonial Williamsburg
Our mission is to be a center for history and citizenship, encouraging national and international audiences to learn from the past through the preservation, restoration, and presentation of 18th-century Williamsburg and the study, interpretation, and teaching of America’s founding democratic principles.
