Damper Control for Decontamination

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The Damper Control for Decontamination is used to close actuated dampers during a decontamination process with an option to lock the interlock doors. A set of two indicator lights in a single plate is installed by each door of the area to be decontaminated is available in the kit option. A green light for normal status and a red light to reflect that the dampers are closed, which also indicates the area is ready for decontamination. A key switch is mounted in the cover of the control panel to activate the damper actuator(s) and, as an option, to energize the magnetic locks of the door interlock system. At this time the decontamination process is ready to be started.

The flush control panel comes with a stainless steel flush cover and 10”H x 8”W x 4”D steel back box. The surface control panel comes with a hinged non-detachable cover from the 10”H x 8”W x 4”D surface box. The surface box with cover is made of steel with a baked enamel gray coating.

The Damper Control for Decontamination, it is a control panel with indicator capabilities for multiple doors. The system can be included as a kit containing a control panel with optional ganged indicator lights for each door of an area to be decontaminated. The ganged indicators lights consist of a set of two lights mounted in a single stainless steel cover plate. The last digits in the model number represented by an ‘X’ will reflect whether the control panel will be flush (F) or surface (S), a kit (K), and after the hyphen, how many doors (2, 3 or 4) to indicate how many ganged indicator lights will be needed.

The Damper Control for Decontamination, it is a control panel with indicator capabilities for multiple doors. This is not a kit and will be provided with a schematic for multiple door indicators. The last digit in the model number represented by an ‘X’ will reflect whether the control panel will be flush (F) or surface (S).

Control panels are available in flush or surface models. The ganged indicator lights for a kit will be provided as flush or surface determined from the control panel selection.
