The blower and ductwork control the amount of air moving through laboratory fume hoods.  For this reason it is extremely important that they be installed and maintained properly

LOC laboratory fume hoods' exhaust blowers are designed for efficient, quiet, continuous duty.  Standard features include a forward curved impeller with a corrosion resistant ashaltum coating, pre-wired motor, weather proof housing with drain plug and inlet/outlet transitions to match our PVC exhaust duct.  Other coatings and spark resistant blowers are available upon request.  Reduced Air Volume blowers are best when your hood exhaust design requires face velocities set at the 50% sash opening and Full Volume blowers are most appropriate when your design requires face velocities set at the full open sash level.
